The big pieces are arriving too. Pimpama’s own train station opened late last year, fully accessible down to braille maps and hearing loops, and the Pimpama Sports Hub has brought pools, courts and community spaces to the neighbourhood. Add Pimpama City and Pimpama Junction for everyday shopping, and this suburb gets more on its doorstep every month.

Pimpama sits at the northern end of our service area, and it’s firmly inside it. The M1 runs straight down to our Helensvale base, so we’re never far away, and nearby Ormeau is covered too.

Do you have support workers available in Pimpama?

Yes. We support participants right across Pimpama, from the newest estates to the older corners of the suburb, with nearby Ormeau covered too.

Is Pimpama too far north for your team?

Not at all. Pimpama sits comfortably inside our service area, and the M1 runs straight down to our Helensvale base. Distance is our problem to manage, not yours, and we plan every visit so support arrives when it should.

Can you help me use the new train station?

Yes. Pimpama’s new station is fully accessible, with lifts, tactile maps and hearing loops, and our transport assistance can include building confidence using it.

Will I have the same support worker?

Wherever we can, yes. We match you with a support worker based on personality, communication style and interests, so while everything else in Pimpama is new, the face at your door doesn’t have to be.

Is there an extra cost for a support worker to travel to me?

Provider travel is a normal part of NDIS-funded support, and any travel costs are set out clearly in your service agreement before support begins, so there are no surprises. You can read more about how travel claiming works on the NDIS website.
